Typically, I produce a detailed pencil drawing that is the bones of the painting. That drawing is emailed to the client for review and approval. While approval of the drawing is pending, I prepare a "sketchy" color study for additional client feedback. Upon approval of the detailed drawing and the color study, I begin painting.

An average time from beginning drawing to completion of one painting is seven working days (though that is highly variable depending on level of complexity and the course of the review process). An average time before I can begin a new project is three weeks. It is always worth contacting me because my schedule is often in flux.
